This programme is funded by Manchester Health & Care Commissioning and was designed to improve the mental health and wellbeing of people with mental health problems living in Manchester. Specifically it sought to:
- increase the social inclusion within their neighbourhoods of people with serious and enduring mental health problems
- increase the take-up of Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme services among communities that finds them difficult to access
- increase the level of support offered to people with mental health problems who find it difficult to access existing services in their neighbourhoods
In all 35 grants of up to £10,000 have been awarded with a total amount distributed of £328,044.14. The programme’s funded projects are due to be completed by autumn 2018.
