Macc leads the strategic work for children and families within Manchester. This involves representation within the Children's Trust and Safeguarding Board to provide information, challenge and be the role of "critical friend" with the partnership. The work within the children and families area aims to strengthen the role of the sector as a provider and as a strategic partner in the city. In early 2012 we launched two new forums in the sector that have been identified by organisations within the sector.
